A good hunting guide from Colorado? who are some good guides from the rocky regions of colorado. Preferably elk.
Colorado Elk Archery Hunting? I booked a fully guided bowhunt on the Cross Mountain Ranch in northwest Colorado. It will be archery only in the middle of September. Has anyone ever hunted on this ranch? They participate in the ranching for wildlife program so i understand that it will be tough to find an elk over 300". Any info would be appreciated. Please post answers only related with my question. I dont care about public hunting and finding public land.
Hunting guides....please help!? ok well, its getting to the time in my life where i have o start thinking of what i want to do for a living. and so i've thought about it, and i always find myself coming back to the idea of being a hunting guide in colorado. i've lived in colorado my entire life, (never once lived in the city, and when i go there for groceries, i always find myself wanting nothing more than to come back to the wilderness) i enjoy being outside more than anything, i also enjoy hunting very much. (i dont mean to brag, but this my help my answers) i am very fit athletic have lots of energy, but am calm polite down to earth and not shy around people. i recently found this websight anbout becoming a hunting guide in colorado, i think its like a class to get you started. its located near a small town called cripple creek, which i live close to and am familier with, so thats good. so i guess my question is, i want to be a hunting guide in colorado, how do i get started, (kind of a unusual question i know but..) about how much money do guides in colorado make. what is a good outfitter that i can try to work for, or would it be better to make my own company? here is the link i was telling you about. http://www.guideschool.com/ and also my grandpa and grandmother live just down the road from me, and they have a HUGE area of beautiful land that i know better than the back of my hand that is packed with elk and deer. would that be any help? please no rude comments, only helpful answeres! thank you. and my grandpa also has a bunch of horses that i grew up around so i am a good rider too. the reason i said that was i though that some guided hunts are on horseback. also i am a decent cook, and have a pretty good sense of wildewrness survival.

prairie dog hunting in south eastern colorado? and i know, spring time is a few months off. want to hunt in the prowers, baca county areas of s e colorado what about the black tail dogs, i heard they are protected now. does anyone know of a guide or friend there

Deer Hunter Guides...do they get paid Good? i was thinking about going out to Colorado to a school that teaches you to be a professional hunter and a professional guide. but i dont know what kind of pay they get and what all is involed during and out of seaon hunting?
I did a random drunk dial...& now I feel ashamed..? this guy is sort of an ex, although our relationship was more casual than anything. So long story short, I saw him for over a year, he moved back home for a job about 6 months ago, we left as friends, but I still had(have) feelings for him. we keep in contact every so often but I was more of the one to call or email. He had told me that he met a girl, she was his gf, but then took a break & just recently emailed me back & said that he had gotten back together, because I asked him. We had also been planning a trip to Colorado before, just as friends, which he was enthused about but then in the same email, he said he was invited to go hunting w/a hunting guide somewhere else. Which was fine because that's what he was planning on doing in Colorado. So..last Friday we left on a good note, I emailed him back w/a postive email & wanted to leave it at that. BUT on Saturday I had a lil too much to drink & called him @ 2 am, crying, telling him that I missed him & now I feel ashamed. So.. So..I'm writing him this email back, tell me if it's good or not, or if I should even email him this. I want to leave it on terms of being happy, not sobbing acting like an idiot.
