Hunt Back Country

Can anyone tell me about hunting Wild Turkey? Do you hunt from the ground or up higher like in a platform/in a tree? Do you use bait or just a call? What time of day is best to hunt turkey? What type of weapon is better, bow or gun? Any other information that's important? I'm doing a fiction piece and it's supposed to take place in the spring. My topic is hunting and in Indiana, the springtime is Turkey season. Please tell me anything I need to know to make it sounds like three guys are ACTUALLY hunting wild turkey together in Indiana.Thanks ya'll!
