1. I love hunting just because i like to get away and just be by myself and the adreniline is cool, i hunt this was my first year acctualy hunting but i do sit back and just hang out in the woods by the way its *deer just to let you know.. congrats on your first deer.

2. I hunt, I like it.... relaxing for me.... I like the guns too, I go to the local range all the time ..... great times....

3. Congratulations! I enjoy hearing of new hunters.

The reason I hunt is for the meat for my family. Good meat with no hormones.
My grandpa always said; “never eat anything until you get to know it first”
And I know where this meat came from and who processed it. I don’t have to wonder if some one didn’t wash after the visit to the bathroom and processed meat. Or if the animal was sick or died in agony. One shot, one kill, its done and the work begins.

I have to bonus of enjoying the outdoors and watching all the animals interact. Fresh air, peace and quiet. The fun of comradeship with other hunters.
I have the joy of knowing my children and grandchildren will pass on the respect for nature and being a steward of wildlife and its habitat.

4. I've hunted deer for almost fifty years. I try to avoid hunting dears. The family would be upset.

5. Dear ,dear,oh what can the matter be Steve is so long in the woods.--Congrats Steve,

6. I think you should be very proud of yourself. Hunting is a very fundamental necessity to the survival of many species of animals. If you have to high of a population of any one bread of animal, there will be feeding and housing problems, and this is unhealthy. They travel and end up getting hit by cars, starving to death. or even spread diseases. By properly maintaining a healthy heard or flock or whatever group of animal, you help the environment breed healthier, stronger animals. Never choose just one type of hunt, animal, weapon, area to limit yourself. Try as many aspects of hunting as you can. You will find a welcome challenge with every hunt, and will add to the excitement. Congratulations on your first deer, now try getting some rabbits and pheasants. I'm sure you will enjoy hunting them as well as eating them. Keep on hunting !!!!

David

Obviously we have a non hunter giving negative points for killing animals. I love animals. They taste great !!!

7. This is my first year hunting too, and I got a deer (button buck). I love hunting, just being out there in the woods enjoying nature. It's just so much fun.

8. Love It!!!!!!!!!!!

9. Hunting has always been a necessity for any meat-eating animal on this planet in order to survive. I think it's a good way to get back in tune with nature, which many humans have forgotten in this age of treeless cities. It can really get you to be aware of your surroundings.

The adrenaline, I think, comes from that fact that you are about to kill something. It reminds you how fragile you yourself are. Hunting has a way of making you face your own mortality. It can be overwhelming knowing you can end a life by simply pulling a trigger. Some people just shrug it off as excitement, but I think it's the voice in your head that is reminding you that you can leave this world just as easily. The more you try to ignore that voice, the less ethical you become... I've seen a lot of hunters that feed off the rush become extremely cold people. They're the guys that look kind of evil when they're looking to hook up at a bar... you don't want to be one of those dudes.

I think hunting is important to learn, if only to understand yourself and the world around you. Respect nature and it'll be good to you.

10. um, it's deer.

the first deer does cause quite an adrenaline rush. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just part of it. Even after years of hunting, you'll still feel your hear beating in your throat when you see a deer come into range. The after the shot adrenaline does fade over time, though, because that's when the work begins!

11. Welcome aboard. Hunting is a lot of fun. If you get a chance to hunt for something that you haven't hunted before, do it. That should be pretty easy, since you just got started. Just when you think you have one thing figured out, the season for the next thing starts. There are a lot of things to be learned about patience and self discipline that everyone should know, but most hunters already possess. Hunt safe, good luck!
