Hunting DFW?

Hi, everyone. I'm a 26 year old African American male who loves hunting. I grew up in hunting in Mississippi and I have been hunting since the age of 8. I moved to the DFW area to attend UNT .The probably that i'm having is that I love hunting and every since I moved here I can't find anyone who loves to hunt. I love to hunt everything from Deer to squirrel. So the game wouldn't be a problem. So I was wondering, if there were any hunting clubs in the DFW area that I could join, that wouldn't have a problem with an african american male hunting with them, it's ashame that i have to mention that, but lets be honest with ourselves, its an issue with some people.

1. being involved in hunting while at college is difficult.

For starters you have a bunch of bleeding heart liberals, and in top of that people experimenting with the whole "I love bunnies I am a vegetarian, you bloody murderer!" so most hunters learn to keep a low profile. Besides, hunting usually means guns, and in our institutions of learning, GUNS ARE BAD, never mind that the orgin of gun control was to keep the guns out of the hands of black people. The klan didn't like it when the uppity blacks shot back at them, so the cure was gun control.

Now we are all mindwashed that Gun Control Is Good For Everyone! And because of this, colleges and universities will often make some arrangements to store firearms for students but in general frown on student owned firearms, either for self defense or for hunting. Hence most hunters carry their rifles into the dorm room late at night.

Try going to where the ag classes are and the vet classes are. It seems that all vet students are either bleeding heart vegans or long time hunters.

good luck
