Bow hunting question on sight adjustment.?
Do I adjust my aim if I climb a tree 10 feet high. Or do I shoot the same as if I'm on the ground.

1. In my experience it doesnt make much difference, but if you aren't quite sure aim about 2"-3" high. Next time you are shooting find something about 10' high and try shooting your target from their so you can get used to it.
2. The only good way is to practice from the height you expect to hunt from. NOTHING beats actually practice and experience.
3. The speed of your bow makes all the difference here. 10 feet is not that high so at 20 yards the effect will be minimal but the others are right you should shoot your bow to be sure. When I am on an afternoon hunt I carry a field tipped arrow and take a shot into the ground from my stand at a known distance. This way I also double check that my sight was not banged on the way in. Of course you don't do this on a morning hunt. The more important thing to remember is shot placement. The steeper the angle is the higher on the deer you need to aim. I like to visualize where the arrow will exit the deer, this helps to determine how high on the side I need to aim in order to take out both lungs. Good luck
