hunting sucks?

I have a serious problem with hunting, and people who do it. I'm not a meat eater, and I seriously get mad when i find out people are going hunting, or that they do. I am from the midwest, so hunting is huge, and people have pictures of the animals they kill around, and it makes me so mad. I know it isnt right for me to dislike people who hunt, but I can't help it. Any ideas from other people who feel this way, on how to think about the whole thing? I don't want any hunting enthusiasts to post, I will not ever see it your way. thanks!

3. i used to think hunting was really dumb- ok, i still think it's really dumb but that's not the point. i have one reason and one reason only for supporting hunting: i'd rather someone shoot them than me hit them with my car. it's cheaper and it leaves me with a cleaner conscience.

5. Oh lordy, a weed eater. Be that as it may, I do like meat... beef in particular, medium rare please.

As for hunting, I see two kinds of hunting: Sport hunting for trophies... which I do not care for. Hunting for meat is okay, especially around here where the deer population is threatening to rise up and crush the eeville human invaders!

(I lost a truck to Bambi in 1997... and I have known people who were injured when their car hit a deer in the road. So... you'll understand, I don't have a lot of sympathy for them lol)

6. i have participated in hunting, but i have changed my ways. Mainly because it's cheaper to buy meat than it is to hunt it, but it's also senseless. I live in an over poached county in southeast tn. So around here wildlife doesn't have much of a chance. I would much rather see an animal running free for everyone to enjoy than see it hanging on some jerks wall for him to brag about. But diversity is what makes to world go round. A lot of people do things i don't agree with and i'm sure people feel the same about me. This is just something you will have to come to grips with. Good luck with your anger, maybe you can work it out.

7. ...think about this...we are meat eaters, we don't have a lot of money, by being able to hunt we are able to fill our freezer with enough meat to feed our family for nearly eight months and sometimes more, because we fish as well...you can hate it...but for some of us, it's our lively hood.

8. I am a Sharp Shooter and own some high powered rifles. The day I went out to hunt on a farmers field I took up a position overlooking two freshly planted fields. As I lay there waiting for game to come by and sure enough a Turkey flaps on by just about on top of me. I let it go. 3 minutes later A rabbit and 5 little bunnies playing in the dirt. As I looked though the scope I felt sick about taking the shot, Ive never been out since and that was 1980.

9. No duh hunting sucks, who doesn't know that. The only thing i don't like is seeing the animals suffer

10. i h8 hunting too. People go out with a gun, and track down and shoot a helpless animal for fun. What? Even if they eat it [poor thing] it was essencially for fun, the food was just an added bonus for them. Why do they have to eat meat?
In fact, I was at dinner with my family one night, and my uncle Dino ordered a steak. He got it and was cutting into it, and so i say, "You know zio, [uncle in italian] that once had four legs and said Moo." and he looked at his stake, and ordered a salad... :D
