Hunt Back Country

What would be a appropriate fee to charge someone for full hunting privileges?

We have 200 acres of rural fenced in hunting land. We have someone interested in having exclusive right to hunt, what would be a fair fee?
I would only deal with hunters that kill to eat their food not to hunt, just to hunt to kill. If you eat meat don't criticize.

1. Most people get big dollars to hunt their land with added extras I know my husband was going to be charged but it varied for what animal they were going to hunt. Wild pigs $200, and elk $500 so it does vary. Look online for ranches to deer hunt etc and you will see the prices but most of these include hunting blinds, camps, guides etc. but just to hunt on the land with none of that ,most people wouldnt pay at least I wouldn't. It is worth doing research for good luck :)

2. With your small amount of land i would charge 2 to 2.25 dollars per acre. Paper companies that lease hunting rights usually lease 1000 acres or more for around 1.50 an acre. With your 200 acres you should have no prob getting 2 dollars. Also if your land has not been hunted in a few years anyone should be very happy to have exclusive rights to your land for 400 dollars.

3. I think both answers are great, either charge a flat rate for unlimited land use, or charge a per kill fee. You stand a chance to make little money, and make a good friend too, hunters will look after your land like it's their own! I have personally hunted on leased land and caught trespassers there that the land owner had no idea were there. We also tend to leave the land cleaner than how we found it, picking up litter even if it's now ours is something we just do! Ask any hunter who hunts private or leased lands, they'll tell you the same thing.

4. We have a few hunters on our land, and we know them pretty well. They give us a little meat and take care of it. (not throw trash out and leave blood and guts out where we might hit it or something) We dont charge anything because they are just hunting. I really dont know what a good price would be, but i wouldnt chrage alot at all.

5. a good sized piece of meat is the going rate in my area.

6. how often will they come id say $10 a month or something like that if your charging cash but why not ask for some meat hunters will like that idea more

7. The going price is a handshake and a thank you around my neck of the woods. A couple pieces of loin would help too.

8. I know of several farms in Indiana with similar acres of land and with 100% exclusive rights with up to 2 other hunters as guest with person on lease.They lease their properties for $5 to $10 per acre single up to $3 to $5 per acre per person for group of up to 4 people total!
Larger land leases tend to go for somewhat less per acre in general.
