1. ..an experienced hunter to guide you.
proper camo gear, a weapon, somewhere to hunt, and a license would be a good start. Get a turkey call scratch box and start practicing.
2. a gun and some turkey?
3. turkey caller
good buckshot
good camo
decoys
scratch pad
patience
4. Well, if you're going with Dick Cheney I'd say you'd better wear a full-face helmet!
5. you need some good cloths and bait and weponds
6. Depends what your hunting. Plus just go to your local butchers if your hungry for meat. It's a lot easier.
7. a gun, knowledge of how to safely use a gun, a place that your allowed to shoot turkeys in
8. Wish i could go with you well you need a gun ' some bait ' some people with you and to be safe ok
enjoy your day
9. Hunting? Oh, I thought you said *cooking*. Call me back when you've bagged one-- I'm a turkey connoisseur .
...But I hear patience is key.
10. You need time to talk with someone experienced in spring turkey hunting in your area. All will be clearer after that.
A tight-choked shotgun, proper shells and apparel and patience until you learn to use a call properly will get you started.

tie the string to the stick
when the turkey goes in to eat the seed
pull the string
13. a Remington 870 shotgun is a good start!!!
14. Here's some free advice: You need a cushion, snack bar, water, and insect repellant.
Also:
1. Use 12 GA with shot size 5 or 6 and an x-tra full or turkey choke [I use a Comp-N-Choke].
2. Shoot in the head when they are under 40 yds. and just make a putt sound with your mouth to make them extend their head and look.
3. Use a box or pot & peg call. They are the easiest. A mouth call takes a lot of practice.
4. Don't call much after the bird starts to come to you.
5. DON'T MOVE when you can see the bird.
6. Get your gun set where you think he will be BEFORE he shows up.
7. CAMO everything.
8. Use a hen decoy so he'l hae his eyes on that & not you [they are uncanny in their ability to know where you are when you're calling].
9. Sit on a cushion with your back up against a tree that's wider than you.
10. Join the NWTF
11. Get set for a BIG adrenalin rush if you do get a gobber coming to you.
12. Despite what you may see or hear....most of the time a gobbler won't come to you. This is the opposite of what nature intended.
13. Take a hunter safety course!!!!
14. Good luck
