1. YES, just put a small piece of orange camo on the blind if you are nervous about others shooting at your decoy or movement.

2. Is it safe? Nothing ius really 100 % safe from another hunter shooting another hunter by mistake. Heck i have heard of hunters shooting another hunter even though the guy had FULL orange on from head to toe. So in that aspect there is nothing safe except to not be in the woods. But like everything from driving a car to eating food one has to weigh the odds and from a personal viewpoint i would say that they are safe to use..

Nothing is fool proof but the colapsable light weight blins are so much better than setting or standing more exposed. I would say that the real advantage is the with the cover that they provide it hides your movement from the animals. Doesnt stop them from hearing the sounds that you make moving but the animal not seeing you fidgeting sure makes a world of difference for human comfort.

I have hunted for 50 odd years and id say that the blinds are one of the best things that have happened for the hunter.. Duck and Goose hunters had used them for hundreds of years. Just in recent times have deer hunters started using them.

3. ChemEnerd said it the best. It is as safe as not having one but I like the orange warning behind the blind idea. I will use that myself. Thanks.
